Presented by: Bill Pernice, Pedagogical Chair and Music Teacher at Green Meadow Waldorf School (Spring Valley, NY) and Carol Bartges High School Faculty Chair and English Teacher at Rudolf Steiner School in Manhattan, NY

1)    How do Waldorf teachers use movement to help students learn during main lesson?

2)    How does this change as children get older? How and why does movement improve academic success?

3)    For example, why does tossing beanbags or stepping in rhythm help children learn times tables?

4)    And maybe tying in how movement and games, social dancing, and eurythmy benefit the children not only socially but academically as well.
