Parent & Child
Parent & Child
(Birth - 3 years)
Parent & Child classes offer parents, grandparents and caregivers the opportunity to connect with other families who are interested in Waldorf education. IWS offers beautiful indoor and outdoor play spaces where parents and children can explore and experience a nurturing rhythm that supports play, imagination and imitation. It is a time for interacting with your little one in activities such as snack preparation, free play and movement, simple circle games and songs and exploring nature together. With the guidance of an experienced Waldorf teacher, we will explore topics such as: meals with children, discipline in early childhood, media/technology and family life, building healthy rhythms into your home life , and other topics related to bringing up small children in today's world.
This Program has been temporarily suspended — please stay tuned for:

A chance to gather, connect and create a simple seasonal craft together! Enjoy introductory conversations about Waldorf education, sprinkled with an age-appropriate song or verse. Come dressed for the season, as the morning will conclude with some time outside on the newly refurbished Early Childhood playground!
Tea will be provided. Please bring a peanut-free snack for you and your child to enjoy when we gather together for some refreshment.
