Development Coordinator

Compensation: $10,000 for September–June (approx. 10 hours/week)

The Ithaca Waldorf School is seeking a motivated and personable Development Coordinator to lead our fundraising efforts, strengthen donor relationships, and support a thriving culture of philanthropy. This position begins September 2, 2025, and runs through June 30, 2026.
The Development Coordinator will organize and run our two major annual fundraisers, the Remarkable Raffle in the fall and a spring fundraiser, while also supporting outreach events with donor engagement in mind. This role will manage our CRM platform to track and communicate with donors, send timely thank-yous, and help foster new donor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute the Remarkable Raffle and spring fundraiser
Support community outreach events with donor engagement goals
Maintain accurate donor records in our CRM
Communicate gratitude to donors promptly and personally
Research and cultivate new donor prospects
Work closely with the School Director and fundraising volunteers
Ideal candidates
Have experience in fundraising, event planning, or donor relations
Are highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once
Communicate warmly and professionally, in person and in writingAre comfortable using CRM or database systems (or eager to learn)
Enjoy building connections and telling the school’s story to inspire support
