Ithaca Waldorf School students are curious, creative, and observant. They benefit from warm, firm boundaries and time outside. Some of them are social; some of them are STEM-inclined; some of them are musical; and they all receive a rich curriculum that results in well-rounded young people who can take on challenges, self-advocate, and know themselves deeply. We nurture vivid imaginations towards critical thinking, scientific inquiry, creative problem-solving. We help develop in students high academic standards, self-motivation, compassion, and confidence with practical skills.

While not every child is a good fit for every school, we don’t believe there is a “Waldorf-type” child. We believe Waldorf Education is a beautiful gift you can give your child, at any age, and for any length of time, no matter what gifts, inclinations, and challenges they bring to the world!
