If you’ve ever been inside a Waldorf school, you’ve beheld the beauty of the rainbow ombre walls, painted with a special technique called Lazure. The walls seem to breathe with living color, inspiring a unique relationship with our interior spaces. Master Lazure artist Andrea Staffeld painted many of the walls at Ithaca Waldorf School; she now offers a weekend-long workshop where participants will learn and practice this meditative painting process as they paint one of our classrooms. You will gain the skills (and paintbrush!) to bring Lazure to the walls of your own home!
Saturday lunch included; brush provided for each participant to bring home.
Workshops will be held in person at the Ithaca Waldorf School. No knowledge of anthroposophy or Waldorf education is required prior to the workshops.
